Your GP wants to make sure that you have the information you need to choose if you want to join in with the screening programs.

Screening is a way of finding and treating changes in your body before they turn into something serious like cancer.  Your GP will send information about you to the screening programme so that they can offer to help you understand about screening.

If you want to know more about this, please ask your GP or practice manager
