Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

COPD is a disease of the lungs caused by cigarette smoking and leads to breathlessness, phlegm/catarrh production that can be persistant and exacerbated by infections (colds etc) often leading to worsening symptoms during winter.

Patients who have this condition, or are suspected of having it, are currently offered  annual review (or more frequent review if necessary) in normal surgery hours.

If you have any concerns relating to the above symptoms, please phone Reception for an appointment.
