Our Services
We provide advice, treatment, monitoring, and signposting for a range of sexual and reproductive health needs, including:
Contraception and Family Planning
- Oral contraceptive advice, prescribing, and annual reviews
- Emergency oral contraception
- Inter-practice referral for Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC), including:
- Contraceptive implants
- Intrauterine devices (IUDs)
- Intrauterine systems (IUS)
- Signposting to Community Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) clinics for emergency intrauterine contraception where appropriate
Pregnancy and Reproductive Care
- Signposting to local maternity and midwifery services
- Collaborative working with maternity teams to support high-quality antenatal and postnatal care
- Postnatal checks
- Signposting to local services providing termination of pregnancy support and advice
Women's Health
- Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) advice, prescribing, and annual reviews
- Pessary insertion and removal
- Cervical screening (smear tests)
Sexual Health
- Signposting to Genitourinary Medicine (GUM) and Sexual Health Clinics for comprehensive STI testing, treatment, and specialist support

Cervical Screening
Cervical screening (smear tests) helps prevent cervical cancer by testing for HPV and identifying cell changes before they become serious.
Appointments are available at:

If you have received an invitation for cervical screening, please contact the practice to book an appointment.
When to Seek Medical Advice
If you have symptoms such as:
- Unusual vaginal or genital discharge
- Bleeding between periods
- Bleeding after sex
- Pelvic pain
- Genital sores, lumps, or ulcers
please contact the practice or a sexual health clinic for advice rather than relying solely on a home testing kit.
Staff Competency and Service Delivery
Our non-clinical staff are aware of the sexual and reproductive health services available and are trained to appropriately signpost patients or refer queries to a clinician when required.
