We offer a dispensing service for patients who live more than a mile from a chemist or we can send this to a chemist for you. It is our policy to dispense or prescribe one month’s supply of medication at a time.
The Consultant Pharmacist in Public Health recommends this policy for Northumberland Care Trust and is supported by the Department of Health.
We offer a home delivery service for patients who may struggle to collect from surgery.
Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions take 72 hours to process.
You can order your medication by:
- EMIS Online Access a safe and secure system that delivers requests directly into our clinical system making it a more efficient way of ordering medication. Ask reception for details.
- Ringing our prescription telephone line on 01434230986
- The line is answered Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm. At all other times there is an answer-phone available, if you have any queries, please leave a message and a dispenser will get back to you.
- Use the right-hand side of your script; indicate which item you want and place this is in the post box at either surgery.
